Interested in Working With Us?

If you are interested in interning with the Injury and Violence Prevention Program Research Lab, please complete and submit the form below. Please be sure to indicate your availability (including details on your availability, whether you’d be able to complete a one-year minimum requirement, and whether you’re planning to apply for course credit). You will also need to upload your research statement (1-2 pages minimum detailing your research interests and prior research background/experience) and your CV/Resume to this application. If you are interested in receiving course credit please attach a copy of your transcripts. Transcripts can be unofficial transcripts or screenshots.

Please note that these positions are contingent on availability and that there may not be any current openings. If your application is a good fit and there is an available position, we will be in touch, otherwise we will keep your application on hand and reach out to you if anything changes or becomes available.

Interested medical students should fill out an application and contact Saba Ali for more information about the IVPP medical student chapter.

Point of Contact:
If you have any questions regarding the lab, you can reach the research team by emailing Dr. Nicholas Thomson at nicholas.thomson@vcuhealth.org.
