Important information for existing Riverside MyChart users

Tappahannock patients can have both Riverside and VCU Health MyChart accounts. Tappahannock patients can use their existing Riverside MyChart username and password to access their new VCU Health MyChart account. Upon initial login Tappahannock patients may be prompted to update their password if their password strength doesn’t meet VCU Health security requirements. Steps to take:

  1. Go to https://mychart.vcuhealth.org or download the VCU Health MyChart app
  2. Login into VCU Health MyChart using your Riverside MyChart username and password
  3. Update your password (if required)

Tappahannock patients who use Riverside MyChart will not automatically have a VCU Health MyChart account. You must create a new VCU Health MyChart account and can use your existing MyChart login information to create it. When you first log in, you will be prompted to update your password.

Link MyChart Accounts

Tappahannock patients can link their Riverside MyChart account within their new VCU Health MyChart account using the "Link My Accounts" feature in the MyChart menu. Watch this video to learn how to link your accounts in MyChart.
