Communicating is essential to learning, working and socializing. Impaired language or speech abilities can literally affect every aspect of life.
Speech-language pathologists at CMH help patients with all aspects of communication; talking, reading, writing, and understanding what others say.
Speech Therapy is provided to inpatients, outpatients, long-term care and skilled care patients and in the patient's home.
Hours: Speech therapy services are offered by appointment at CMH, Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Speech Therapists are on call on Saturdays and Sundays for acute care services. For more information or to schedule an appointment, please call (434) 447-0895.
