Medicare Advantage Open Enrollment
Frequently Asked Questions
When and what is Medicare open enrollment?
The Medicare Open Enrollment Period runs each year from October 15 through December 7. During that time, you can change your coverage from Original Medicare to a Medicare Advantage plan, switch Medicare Advantage plans, or change from a Medicare Advantage plan back to Original Medicare.
If you’re satisfied with your current coverage and feel it will meet your needs, you do not need to do anything.
